Fall Concert

Commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the founding of Salem, this concert will feature the first modern performance of a Missa Brevis composed by Johann Gottlieb Graun.

Holiday Concert

The Holiday Concert will feature Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols with harp accompaniment, and a selection of favorite Christmas carols for voice and string instrument.

Spring Concert

The Piedmont Chamber Singers’ Spring Concert will celebrate images of nature, and include text by poets Sara Teasdale, Odell Shepard, Henry Vaughan, and others. Composers include Elaine Hagenberg, Oscar Weil, Edward Elgar, and local composer Sally Morris.

Our feature work for this concert will be English composer Arthur Bliss’s Pastoral “Lie Strewn the White Flocks.” Keeping with our “Strings Attached” theme, PCS will be joined by a small orchestra of local symphony players as well as mezzo-soprano and former PCS core singer Amber Engel.
