Piedmont Chamber Singers employs a section leader for each section of the choir. Their responsibilities include leading warmups for rehearsals, leading sectional rehearsals, attending community events where the group is invited, and being demonstrating a model vocal sound for each section. Our section leaders generally have degrees in music and experience in performance. We currently have an opening for alto and bass section leaders. If interested, contact us!
If PCS has vacancies or unbalanced number of members in each section, we may hire core singers to help fill the void. Our core singers primary responsibilities are to attend rehearsals and special performances. A music degree is not required, but some considerable choral experience is desired. We currently have an opening for a tenor and bass core singer. If interested, contact us!
